Fuck public transit, probably like 98% of my handheld time is at home. It's refreshing to have console games you can play anywhere, while you lay in bed, sitting on a porch or balcony, in a living room where someone else is using the TV... You could even take it in the shitter if you like, though I've not gone that far with it (yet), lol.

Wish I had time to play the games on switch.. but my PC games list keeps going.

I also don't take any public transit so it doesn't really benefit me?

Oh yeah, it's the perfect machine for all those 2D indies you might otherwise buy on Steam. I enjoy playing those handheld way more than sitting at a desk using KBM. So between that and the quality exclusives they're pumping out pretty regularly, it's a really great complement to a gaming PC used for its own exclusives and the AAA cross-platform stuff.

Everyone raves about the Switch. Maybe if I had a long train commute, I could see picking one up...

A good friend/co-worker bought me one for xmas, and a copy of Zelda. I have to say.... while I don't play Zelda portably..... it's an amazing game. So I picked up Mario Odyssey, and Mario Kart, and really surprised by the machine.

My last experience with a Nintendo was a 3ds (recently picked up a 2ds XL for my pokemon gaming fetish), and a GameCube.

They got me to buy one and I haven't have a Nintendo console since the SNES. I personally use it for the indy games. I've already spent $100 on Blaster Master, Retro City Rampage, Stardew Valley, Golf Story, Rocket League and Minecraft (for my son).

Still trying to get into Zelda. The Zelda/Smash Brothers fanatics have always irrationally annoyed me. I'd much rather deal with vulgar PC gamers.

Link!!! Link is the guy! Not Zelda!!!! /s

Certainly seems like an awesome console. I'm in the same boat with Nintendo consoles, so I'm really curious. Then again, PC gaming has probably spoiled us all!

I like it so far. I have the Zelda game and the new Mario. It's nice having the option to use the hand-held when you can't use the TV.

I'm a smoldering volcano of virility. At least, that's what I tell myself.

Awesome now make a Phantasy Star Online 3 for US markets and ill buy one.

Still nostalgic over the original Phantasy Star Online for my Dreamcast that I played online over a 56k dialup and later a 128k leased line back in good ole 2000.
