for an RPG about grinding for Dynasty gear).

Depends on the state you choose at the beginning of the game. Just be sure to choose a southern state for your farm location, and you should be all set.

I watched a couple of guys on YouTube playing this and it looked really interesting, so I jumped onboard. I wasn't into things like Farm Simulator, but this game for some reason I really enjoy. I think the RPG trappings add something that the other farming games don't have. The only downside is the voice acting is comically bad, I hope they do something about that as development goes on.
I get a strong FarCry 5 vibe from this one.
Would it be bad for me to admit I did a double check on this article because I initially read the title as, "Farmer's Daughter Early Access"...

Three quarters of the sales are in China, purchased by people looking to earn money playing video games and don't get beyond the word "farm."

Ever play Farming Simulator 17? Really amazing and a lot of fun, plus it sold well. It's even on the Switch!
This seems to be a single-player version of that with more focus on building and social aspects. Pretty cool.
