Socialism doesn't fail in theory it fails in practice. Why? Our species will always look for the easy out. The free money. Socialism also fails because it is the dream that those in power will not hoard the wealth nor abuse their power to enrich themselves.
And when looking for the easy way out, that forces laws and regulations into existence, as they harm an entity who takes them to court. Laws and Regulations are mostly created on situations that force such things to exist, not just because we're big meanies wanting to control, there was an attempt made to do it with less control, but it only takes one person/situation, right?
