I predict States will be getting involved and they aren't that big.
Are you saying the states are not as big as the Koch brothers, even R.I.?
How about the bros and comcast combined, who's bigger then?
No, the states are paid for by these folks and their special interest lobbyists.

Not all states want power to the people, but there are some that try much harder than others, those I feel if they see gouginh, they will step up and take action. I could be wrong, but I believe WA and CA have already made mention. But as much as we might not like this ruling, you still have to see the bad happen first. So we'll see.

When you allow unlimited spending in politics, this is the result: regulations overwhelmingly favor monied interests like corporations and rich old fucks.
Luckily we won't have Net Neutrality harming the little guy any more and will finally get the protective embrace of billionaires and corporations.
I feel better already, aren't you cozy?

Won't matter. There will always be large corporations looking to stuff their coffers by screwing over the consumers. It will be that way until we become a post-scarcity economy which isn't going to happen for a few hundred years at a minimum, possibly thousands of years. Something like exists in Iain Banks' The Culture would be nice. Unfortunately, if it ever happens, we won't be around for it.
Truth is brutal. Prepare for pain.
