Assassin's Creed Origins Adds Nightmare Difficulty

Assassin's Creed Origins now goes up to 11, as UbiBlog announces title update 6 is now available, adding a new nightmare difficulty option to the assassination game. This post has all the details on the new update, and here's the overview:

Big changes are afoot in Assassin’s Creed Origins today, as Title Update 6 brings in a host of new options and tweaks designed to make your adventure in Ancient Egypt even better. Smoother performance, better Hippodrome rewards, and a rebalanced economy are just a few of the improvements arriving with today’s update, but the biggest changes let players customize how hard the world around them hits back.

Players looking for a tougher challenge can now ratchet the difficulty up to Nightmare level, making Egypt’s phylakitai, bandits, and wildlife more formidable than ever. At the same time, players who want to explore Egypt without fear of getting flattened by powerful enemies can activate an auto-leveling option, which scales enemies to Bayek’s level, instead of setting them based on the region in which the enemies appear. Here’s just a sampling of some other notable changes:

  • Added customization options for Hood, Hair, and Beard in the Gear menu
  • Improved various cinematic transitions
  • Tweaked sensitivity of Hippodrome controls
  • Fixed an issue where Senu could pass through the world
  • Fixed damage caused to NPCs with torches
  • Fixed some loading issues while using Senu
  • Added a friends-only pictures filter in the World Map
  • Adjusted the balance of the economy by reducing the price of some Animal Goods

better Hippodrome rewards

So, 200 gold now? I hate the damn Hippodrome. It's literally seven against one, their horses never tire, and everyone works to kill you.

Which would make sense if you were like the reigning champ or something, but even in race one everyone is gung-ho about killing you.

Try to slide through a corner, someone rams you, you didn't hit the brace button in 0.0000001 seconds, and boom, race lost.

And your reward for all this bullshit? 150 gold. Aka, literally a FIFTH of what you get for selling some random-ass sword dropped by some random-ass guard somewhere.

Also, where is the next Trial of the Gods, Ubi? Releasing these things once every two months, only so you wind up with an outfit after 8 months, is just pointless. Nobody will be playing this in 8 months, so nobody will care about an outfit.

Shouldn't that hard difficulty be labeled "Anubis" level?

More like Seth level (God of storms and decay)

I knew a somebody named Seth when I was a kid, total jerk. That explains a lot.

To be honest, the history of the god Seth is quite interesting Meanings vary and nobody is quite sure what he stood for.. heh

The only thing that flat-earthers have to fear is sphere itself.
