It's been a delight making friends with our neighbors and their little twins. The parents, the kids and their doggie are all our buddies now, and our lives are the richer for it. I'm beginning to realize that my immune system may not be lucking out the same way, though. I started suffering a bit of a stuffy nose last night, and have a sore throat this morning, which is almost exactly one month after my previous mild cold. I may be wrong blaming this on the kids, but I've gone years between colds lately, and almost never get them back-to-back like this, so there's a temptation to correlate this with the cliché that youngsters going back and forth to preschool are little germ factories. Even if that's the case I'll gladly put up with this, but hopefully I won't be catching a cold per month from now on. Or maybe I just have the Man Flu?
