Seven: The Days Long Gone Released

Seven: The Days Long Gone is now available for Windows on Steam, offering an isometric open-world RPG from Fool's Theory and IMGN.PRO that boasts former developers of CD Projekt RED's Witcher series. This is offered in two flavors, a Standard Edition and a Digital Collectorís Edition, which includes with a digital artbook, soundtrack, map, and guidebook. They illustrate the news with a cinematic trailer, a combat trailer, and a sneaking trailer. Here are the details:

In SEVEN: THE DAYS LONG GONE, you play as Teriel, a master thief possessed, in the most symbiotic ways possible, by an ancient daemon (Artanak) and deported to the prison island of Peh. Teriel, with Artanak help, unearth the islandís dark secrets and soon learn that the fate of the entire Vetrall Empire rests in balance.

The post-apocalyptic world is filled with mysterious technology and Dark Age superstition, diverse communities that react to every action, and a rich ecosystem of creatures to interact with, from animals to people to monsters. Freely explore the vast yet unforgiving open world, whether following the main story line or heading off on a side quest.

Looks interesting especially for Steam Link play. When it hits $20 I'm in.

With KB/Mouse it ain't.... with controller, kinda.... super rough game but interesting concept.. horrid-bad sneaking system with ZERO indication of view ranges or what constitutes "sound enemies hear" and what they don't hear...

Seems to be kinda fun though

Hate comic book trailers that show nothing of the game, content etc.

"Hey guys, for our trailer: lets take our concept art, throw some FX on them, and add a narrator with a panning camera!"

I'm not a fan of this shit either, especially when a game's entire art style is essentially parallax concept art like some kind of flash game.. but this is a small studio's first release so they get a pass. That extra money/time making a good trailer definitely takes a hit to the core game when you don't have huge budgets to work with.

There are two gameplay vids right below the cinematic one.

Obvious comment intentional.

Wtf. xD

PC Gamer thought it was pretty darn good, if rather buggy at release.

I'm definitely picking this up in January.

I'd say this is an ARPG not a CRPG.
