Yeah, his rant was funny, but all in all it seemed a bit "RAH ANOTHER UBISOFT GAME I HATE THESE!" than specific to AC:Origins. Origins is probably the best AC since 2.

Yes, the leveling is a bit odd and does do weird things to the assassin part of the game (jump onto a guy from above and stab him straight in the throat, and if he's 5 levels above you, it does shit all for damage), but on the flipside, it does create a sense of progression as you get more powerful and open up more areas. I just wish they'd made more mid-level areas and not wasted so many on levels 30+.

AC Origins is a very enjoyable game, and Ubisoft has heavily reined in its "open world game means 90000000000000000 icons on your map!" crap. The world feels nicely populated. Not too sparse, not too full.

Yeah it was pretty funny. A bit questionable in terms of actually making any sense though...

The most confusing thing is that he seemed to think that the counter combat in previous games required more skill. It was literally just sitting there holding block and then hitting X when the icon above their head flashed.
