Yeah I find it so baffling how an avg IQ person can't see it. Somehow they believe the mouthbreathers GOP constant complete bullshit, it's unreal
-edit i want to make clear I am no fan of the corporate democrats who pull much of the same shit (but let's be honest, you can't be as corrupt and hypocrite as a GOP'er) so even small change is better than nothing.
Although the Repubs are far worse, it's a symptom of the system. Laws can't be truly for the people until you remove private money from political campaigns. It's just too easy for monied interests to buy votes. Remember, this isn't my opinion, it's been empirically proven.

The irony is that it will take a lot of money to remove money from elections. But we're stuck with it for the foreseeable future. We're certainly never going to see money removed from elections under Republican rule. Dems aren't saints either, but you're far more likely to see support for removing money from elections from the left...never the right.

So...remember that when you vote. The left seem to think likes and retweets counts as votes and don't show up at the polls. That needs to change.

Why didn't they do this at any point during Obama's admin?

Because Dems had control of Congress for only 2 years during Obama's term, and during that time they were dealing with the completely crashed economy, quarmire wars, out of control spending, healthcare crisis, etc. that the GOP left them with. They focused on those issues while they could, then the GOP took back Congress and said they would pass no legislation that helps this country, because their only goal was making Obama a one term president. And darned if they didn't sit on their hands and do absolutely nothing except attack Obama and Hillary for the next 6 years, instead of passing legislation that would have helped this country recover from the GOP messes.

Then they won the presidency and have spent the past 9 months looking like clowns, showing they have no idea how to run a country, and can't even pass their own legislation with absolute control of all three branches of government.

Do you really think braindead1959 can comprehend such a detailed post.
Nice response btw?

I was hoping that Lazarus would have been about Heinlein's Lazarus Long character. It is not. I has a disappoint.

I won't lie: this announcement gave me wood. This is exactly what I've been complaining about: there are a ton of great stories out there; stop rebooting existing ones. Hope these come out great.

Ringworld was awesome, as far as I recall. I had some issues with Snow Crash, so hopefully they don't adhere too closely to the actual story. I know nothing about Lazarus, but comic frames on the internet look pretty cool.

Nice try Dems, but as long as you're not punching hippies, blacks, and LGBTQs, those kinds of voters won't vote for you. Ever.
