Yes, it does.
Man, I really wanted to love this game. But it just didn't have the fun factor from the Battlefield games (for me, anyway). Here's hoping they right the ship with the sequel.
I mean, that's why it's a BattleFRONT, not a BattleFIELD, right?
Up front, I've never played a Battlefront, and I've never enjoyed a Battlefield (doing solely 1942, then beta testing another, I think Battlefield 2.)
That said, I agree. From everything I've read, this could have been more complex. It seems like LucasArts and EA were pushing for as many users as possible, but the overlap between gamers and Star Wars fans lies deep, and they could have made a game that appealed to slightly fewer people but to those people much more, as making it less complex didn't really increase the audience range.
Still, though, it says BattleFront. People should have known what they were getting.

If hardly anyone is playing this multiplayer-only game, was it worth a purchase even at that price point?

Just got the whole shebang for $5.30, for that I couldn't resist. Damn you Star Wars!

If you got kids, you could do a lot worse for $5. The game is gorgeous, and captures that Star Wars atmosphere wonderfully, even if the gameplay isn't the greatest. And there are some single player modes if you just want to cruise around and blast stormtroopers.

I'm confused... Doesn't the ultimate edition already come with the Season Pass?
But you'll get it again! For free!
So, is there ANY kind of offline play in this at all? I mean, for 83% off I'm tempted to get it just to gawk at the maps, but are you even able to do that?
