I am not a fan of another streaming service with limited title. I don't like that even Star Trek Discovery is going on CBS All access instead of netflix or hulu. I am already subbed to Netflix and Hulu and that is enough at the moment.

As far what they could with a StarGate prequel. In the show they say they never found the original Dial-Home-Device (DHD). They could base the show around having a team stumble on it and somehow got the gate working the show could be about an incident that caused them to destroy/hide it.

All this drama because Amazon doesn't make it clear that these are sellers aren't affiliated with them because they know people won't buy from them otherwise and they won't get their cut. So yeah, fuck Amazon.

Look for "Sold by: Amazon.com LLC" on the item in your cart. I'm pretty sure most third party items will also specify on the store page how fulfillment will happen.

Stargate is definitely one of my favorite sci-fi TV series (all the them, even early-canceled Universe), right up there with Firefly and Battlestar Galactica. I even re-watch all 17 seasons every couple of years.

Must just be me, but going back to the time they dug up the gate in Egypt and basing a show on that seems dull. They didn't know what they had for decades. So we will be treated to show after show of the gate sitting there lifeless?
