Mud and tape guy needed an extra day. Was super rainy here and super hot. Mud didn't dry. We are doing all painting Fri/Sat/Sun. Moulding finishing up Fri. Scrape and paint eves, maybe replace a few of the boards. Did some landscaping in back yard, trimmed trees. Tons of small shit inside. Other small things throughout.
5 years of projects completed in 2 weeks. I know some great people willing to help out and some things just kind of fell into place, we have been very fortunate.
WE ARE READY!
Bring on the bidding wars!
Going back and forth with the house we want. Old timer owns it and is being a stickler.....
Well, my main objection to Dunkirk is it actually happened. And while it is certainly an example of something we need to remember so we can make every effort not to repeat it -- watching a realistic re-enactment doesn't seem "entertaining". But I agree, it looks like another good film by Nolan, and despite my being hesitant about it -- I will probably see it at some point.

Fair enough. Same reason I won't watch any of the new Apes movies.
At least with the new Apes movies, it is fantasy. I really liked the originals and I think they've done a pretty good job with this reboot. It is the same basic story, with similar results, but I think they have done a good job of putting in some new details and a slightly different spin on it. Maybe not as good a job as was done on the Battlestar Galatica reboot, but still well done.

Dunkirk is apparently a masterpiece...

Damn dude you got the patience of Job. I would have gone off the deep end by now if I had to go through all of that. Hats off to keeping sane!

The cyclist running the red light video is boring. It's nothing. A minor nudge compared to the hundreds of Russian dashcam videos showing pedestrians and cyclists getting slammed by cars every single day in that country.

I remember using PowerPoint in 1992-1994 and thinking then it wasn't great. It is amazing it has lasted as long as it has...

They sent me a letter about a month ago saying my claim was insufficient (the claim I'd submitted like 10 months ago), after I'd given them all my hardware IDs and a copy of my newegg invoice. Apparently they did this to a great many people.
