Necromancers are grim spellcasters who draw upon the power of blood and bone and raise terrifying armies of undead minions from the remains of their vanquished foes. These brooding men and women are masters of the dark arts who seek to preserve the balance between the forces of life and death in Sanctuary—even if it requires detonating several thousand demon corpses along the way.
In addition to a new class, the Rise of the Necromancer pack contains a macabre assortment of curiosities to support any aspiring practitioner of forbidden magic, including:
- The grotesque Half-formed Golem in-game pet
- Cosmetic Wings of the Crypt Guardian for all your Diablo III characters
- Two additional character slots
- Two stash tabs (PC only)
- Necromancer portrait, banner, sigil, and accent, and Blood Master pennant
Acolytes of the dark arts can also unearth the most closely guarded secrets of the Priests of Rathma by studying the Book of the Necromancer at Diablo3.com/Necro. This archive chronicles the shadowy history of the necromancers and contains a grimoire of their spells, runes, weapons, and armor—an ideal resource for anyone who plans to take the necromancer through the challenges that comprise the Season 11 journey, beginning July 20.
New Zones: The Moors & The Temple of the Firstborn
The fog-enshrouded Moors and the darkened Temple of the Firstborn can be explored in Adventure Mode through a new waypoint on the Act 2 map

Agreed. My character tabs are full as well on the PS4 version, so I'll be looking forward to freeing up 2 new spaces for those.
People will react to the pricing according to how much they play. I've put in hundreds of hours into it and I can see myself putting a good deal more in what with the new class and seasons finally coming to console and all. I agree it is too much for someone who just wants to jump in and play for a few hours before moving on, though.
Then again, I picked this game up on sale on the PS Store for only $15 during a 66% off sale so getting the Necromancer for $15 feels kind of like supporting the devs that have given me and my friends so many hours of enjoyment.

No new areas? Just a new class? So I guess it is only $5, right? *looks at price* GTFOH!
There are 2 new areas and other features, they are just part of this patch and don't requre the addon. I was hoping for something in the $9.99ish range though.

Hell, the two stash tabs are almost worth $15. A premium stash tab over on Path of Exile is $4 and I've bought at least 20 of them. So $7.5 is a bit high, but in the acceptable range.
