You can see a battlestar docked in the space station so it's pretty apparent it's the reboot. Probably the cylon war as mentioned above.

Seems this is based on the reboot, but set during the 1st Cylon War. So the only characters from the reboot who would be adults serving during the war would be Admiral Adama and Colonel Tigh.
It's unknown whether either of them make an appearance, but I doubt it.
