Why not have a massive garage sale or two before you go? Moving is always a good opportunity to get rid of a lot of crap before you go.

And the only monsters in that article are the scientists. Animals are not lab equipment.

I need a Android/Music person's help with a question.
Neighbor (a senior) is looking for a music app to 1)find all the music on his phone regardless of where it is, and 2) play it. He uses some crazy app to download music off the net, but I haven't had much luck getting Google's music app being able to add the folder as part of his normal 'hey play music in this folder' routine.
If anyone could give me some insight I'd appreciate it (and don't care if it's a payed or free app), as long as it's fairly easy for him to use.

I use VLC.
And get him off of the "crazy" app, if you can, because the world needs less installed malware.

Anyway, why are you guys waiting until the house is done to put it on the market? I've been to plenty of houses that were still in the midst of remodel yet were listed. Especially if everything is almost done, I'd assume it's going to take some time to get it listed, there's a lot of paperwork to go through. I don't know what the housing market is like in that area, but do you think it'll sell rather quickly? Or are you guys moving before it sells?

every android music app i've ever used will automatically scan the entire drive for sound files. did both on my old samsung and my current LG. personally i use poweramp; it does this too, so unless his crazy app encrypts his music into some funky format, just look for the option to rescan for music.
