Obama and the DNC got flak from left-leaning posters here for appointing Tom Wheeler (when he was seen to be a corporate shill), for their part in warrantless wiretapping and other abuses of the surveillance state, for failing to make government more transparent, for the government's treatment of Chelsea Manning (until he commuted her sentence near the end of his term), and for not closing down Guantanamo. Broken campaign promises, and failure to act in the public interest.

Trump, on the other hand, goes up there and just lies. Just outright lies about election fraud, his tax records, inauguration attendance, but people here parrot it. Millions of fraudulent votes just sailing through and a Trump popular vote victory. Sure. He and his staff provide mutually contradictory accounts, and it's the left-leaning media's fault. He's a hypocrite about golfing habits, insecure communications, leaks, Syria, fundraising, and more, but fuck it, go Team Red!

Copy and paste Obama or Hillary instead of Trump in any article and the right would be going nuts. Trying to pretend that Obama could have just gone up and lied or tweeted in a similarly hypocritical manner with the left eating it up is just facile crap.

Does anyone actually believe the ISP's reasons for needing to get rid of Net Neutrality?

Just on these boards, far rightists like WaltC, ledhead and shihonage believe everything Trump and the Republican right say.

But you don't believe anything that far-leftist say, right? You aren't biased at all.

Does anyone actually believe the ISP's reasons for needing to get rid of Net Neutrality? I feel like we all know they just want free-reign to do whatever the fuck they want regardless of the effect on everyone else while being protected from other companies/industries attempting to do the same. Do we really need to watch the FCC eat the shit cake and pat it's tummy in effort to convince people it's good?

Study: Net Neutrality Rules Did Not Harm Broadband Investment.

Of course it didn't. It's like saying raising capital gains taxes will affect investment. It won't.

Getting rid of Net Neutrality is all about ISP greed. Nothing more. Ajit Pai is a former Verizon lawyer, a lapdog for the industry. Only slightly less face-punchable than Martin Shkreli and Sean Spicer.
