And rumors are Intel is pushing their server tier CPU releases ahead, we'll likely see Intels response to Ryzen 5 specifically then. And if they can cram a 7700K in a 10 and 6 core cpu with x2 threads and price it competitively, because thanks to Ryzen we now have competition, we ought to see some real advancements in the CPU world again.

And another rumor is that Intel Skylake-G will ship with modular graphics, meaning you might actually see an Intel chip with AMD igpu

Yeah it appears the retail chips aren't as lucky as the preview test bunch that Intel sent out prelaunch.

Oh well i'm quite happy with my 3700K @ 4.7GHZ with Hyper Threading and Turbo boost on (hell, it turbo's upto 6.25GHZ)

So they show the CPU temps, but not the CPU load? So what if it can idle in windows if it'll burn up as soon as you do anything taxing :X
