Disney sees big money in the sexbot trade in 10 years. Wants to get its patents nailed down. Never accuse Disney of not doing what's good for their shareholders.

It's always about the sex bots! And the murder bots. A lot of money to be made in sex/murder bots, basically.

All angry internet people aside..

Did you ever see the Mickey doll that was interactive with the theme parks? Telling you about shows, when fireworks were going on etc, they were pretty fucking impressive piece of Disney tech.

They were also completely anatomically correct. Did you know that mice have penises that are 30% of their body length?
RIP RedEye9. We miss you.

It is stupid you can patend this because "huggable and interactive humanoid robots" is not an original thought. It is obvious we are going there.

So basically they just filed a patent for everything that even kind of maybe looks a little bit like an android.

What a load of crock. This is typical patent trolling bullshit and it should be fucking illegal.

It has application far beyond toys. My guess is they would automate the characters they have walking around the parks.

It would be considerably safer than having some minimum wage employee wearing a 150pound suit in 100degree weather groping your daughters. Yeah, those are the jobs we really need to worry about saving from the robots. /s

And once again who the fuck is going to be able to buy one of these robots because no one is working because they've been replaced by robots. If anything their will be a massive backlash against robots.
