Destiny 2 in September; PC Included

The promised reveal trailer for Destiny 2 is now online, showing off the upcoming shooter sequel. This touts preorders for a September 8th release, and the preorder page does include the PC as a target platform along with Xbox One and PlayStation 4. They say preorders will get early beta access, and while there's small print in the trailer saying beta platforms are TBD, the beta FAQ confirms the PC is included. Here's word on the game:
From the makers of the acclaimed hit game Destiny, comes the much-anticipated sequel. An action shooter that takes you on an epic journey across the solar system.

Humanity’s last safe city has fallen to an overwhelming invasion force led by Ghaul, the imposing commander of the brutal Red Legion. He has stripped the city’s Guardians of their power, and forced the survivors to flee. You will venture to mysterious, unexplored worlds of our solar system to discover an arsenal of weapons and devastating new combat abilities. To defeat the Red Legion and confront Ghaul, you must reunite humanity’s scattered heroes, stand together, and fight back to reclaim our home.

I swear that blue guy's voice is Lance Reddick's

It is. Lt. Daniels in The Wire, Charon in John Wick, Destiny 1 and 2, apparently.

Nathan Fillion voices the robot-headed guy.

Some clarification about PC and Xbox having to wait a year for the Expansions so PS4 can have some timed exclusivity would be nice, if that's the case I'll probably just pass on this game.

So they're releasing on PC and already taking pre-orders, though I don't see a list of PC requirements anywhere. I even checked on the page where they're taking preorders and the only mention of requirements is related to install size and internet connection (basically or possibly just listing console requirements).

What a great way to start your foray into the PC space, real attention to detail, so promising.

Definitely has PvP. No subscription fee. You either queue up for PvE activities or PvP activities. There's no PvP in PvE locations, though.

Does this have a subscription fee?

Second Question: PvP, Yes or No?

(Any gameplay videos?)

Not sure if they are changing the format for number 2, but though progression and loot are rather borderlandsy (less random/varied but more bespoke and I think cooler) the structure is far less open, though there was some attempts at making the open areas interesting for free-roam (Rarely successful, but I did have some good times cruising around meeting whoever).

The levels tend to be linear but wide, like the larger Halo encounters, with some kind of boss action and some wave based encounters strewn throughout. The missions re-use areas, but often start in different parts and end in more unique mission specific areas that are closed off other times.

There were also some cool raids and some other stuff. It's mostly 3 player co-op. Shooting feels Halo awesome and weapon feel even more sublime considering the variety of weapons. Some of the unique were super fun to earn and use. The raids were 6 player and more mission types supporting that player count would be nice now that they have dropped PS3/360 support.

I'm kind of interested, but apparently there is a ONE YEAR wait for content unless you are on PS4? Why the hell would I buy the expansions, let alone the game, if I have to wait probably 2-3 years for it to be 'complete' ?

Hopefully that's just a punishment for the Xbox, and not also the PC version.

The first speaker... Dialogue crafted by a professional story writer.

The second speaker... Your typical Destiny player.

As Suvi would say... "AmIRight?"
