K, which idiot let's a 3 year old watch the internet without screening their content?

Sorry snowflakes, but if you're too fucking dumb to realise that it's a jungle out there, then your kids are going to see a lot of awful fucking stuff.

Eh, the phrase has been twisted and abused into meaninglessness now.

"Special snowflake" when used pejoratively, is supposed to signify a person who has unreasonable expectations that their own personal needs be met over the needs of others.

But today you see the term trotted out (usually by /pol/tards) to describe vast swaths of the population.

The term is basically used today to mean "someone who is concerned about something I'm not personally concerned about".

Which, quite frankly, makes the person using the term more of a snowflake than anyone else, because they are dismissing the concerns of a lot of people simply because they personally don't give a shit.

Thou art an artless, greasy tallow-catch.

Yup.

And, like you said, it should be someone concerned with their own needs, but is generally thrown at members of the majority discussing concerns for members of a minority, while the person using it is concerned with their own needs, so... yeah, back to your final sentence.

"Special snowflake" is just another term for self-centered. Older people have been complaining about the younger generation being self-centered since the dawn of time.

When used dismissively, I'd partly agree with you. However, no one person cares about all things that other people care about.

I generally tend to agree wholly with this:

Especially when it comes to people whom are so self-centered about their own interests that they work to preclude the interests of others.

I've also observed "snowflake" used to describe someone whom is naive.

Well said. It's a word used by sensitive people who are very self-involved and not at all self-aware.

Actually I hadn't dropped by to check up on how far up his own ass Beamer was tunneling tbh, but he sure doesn't disappoint...

I stand by my original statement. Anyone who let's a 3 year old (or a 7 year old, which is where my son is at at the mo) browse the internet without vetting their content is too fucking lazy to be a parent and wants to offload their parental responsibilities to everyone else...

So yeah, fuck those selfish douchebags who do not love their kids enough to be a true parent. Those that are too pig ignorant to spend the time to work out how to put a parental lock on their computers. Make it everyone else problem to take care of your kid.

And as for Beamer and his ilk, who lead with their glass chins and insults, good luck to you guys. Sling your insults, make your wild guesses, cast your aspersions. You can even make believe you're hitting the mark if you wish.

/grin

It's dreadfully ironic just how much he lacks the self awareness to see that he has become the quintessential thin skinned SJW.

He hasn't even addressed the topic at hand, ie. inappropriate material that looks like children's entertainment slipping in to kids hands. Too busy bursting in to flames because I have the temerity to demand that parents should actually take care of their kids. What fucking cheek I have...

actually it pretty much describes nearly all leftist indoctrinated college students and professors, actors and media types these days from nearly every campus in America and Europe.

Big difference from what once were normal people with varying concerns. Now its a bunch of brainwashed, indoctrinated tantrum throwing fools...aka snowflakes.
