Out of the Blue

It's with great relief that I put an end to packing up all the crap in my office, which for me was by far the most daunting aspect of packing up the BlueTower for its move. My getting through the last of it overlapped significantly with the guys working on the area, so I got to contend with a little plaster dust along with the regular kind of dust in getting through it all. There's actually a stash of old hardware remaining up there in a crawl space, but that won't be that bad to deal with, so I feel a great weight off my shoulders now. There's still more packing to be done, but it will all be far more straightforward than was digging out of my office.

In the photo with Trump you mean? Assuming that's what you are asking -- it is Rod Serling, long time host/narrator of the very memorable and well known TV series, "The Twilight Zone".

Thank you, that makes sense now.

Some Democrats feel donnies latest tweets are an attempt to focus attention away from the Russian affair.
House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi said: "The Deflector-in-Chief is at it again."

What is the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (Fisa)?
Created in 1978 to establish procedures for the physical and electronic surveillance of foreign intelligence agents
Intended to cover foreign spy programmes but can be targeted at US citizens
The president cannot order a Fisa warrant
Officials at the justice department must seek permission from the Fisa court

Wow, just when I think it can't get worse. Trump randomly accuses Obama bugging Trump Tower? I can't figure out if he is crazy, a genius, or just has ADD -- probably parts of all three.

I genuinely believe he has dementia. He shows basically all the symptoms. What are the laws regarding forcing a sitting president to undergo a medical evaluation?
This will provide information for a wider googling. http://fusion.net/story/366156/congress-remove-trump-from-white-house-25th-amendment/
But then we would be stuck with VP "conversion therapy" Pence-a-tuckey.
It's a true rock and a hard place quandary.

I'd take Pence solely for the fact that he doesn't excite the loony electorate. Maybe then I can go back to pretending a large portion of the country isn't two neurons removed from pond scum.
How dare you insult pond scum like that.

NOAA is Trump's next victim. He accuses them of making bad weather in parts of the US, while the sun always shines in Mexico. He thinks this is un-american and lacks patriotism, so he will reduce NOAA's funds.

Instead, he will threaten the climate with new nukes. This should show the weather who the boss really is!

Well, Frum isn't a foaming-at-the-mouth conservative. He argues things based on the merits, and puts country before party (unlike most Republicans). He's also smart enough to realize that Trump leads either to the destruction of the Republican party, or our democracy. So I'm not surprised at something like this. So it's not surprising to people that know him.

I'm a smoldering volcano of virility. At least, that's what I tell myself.
