You've completely disregarded the fact that Nintendo knew internally that they were developing the Switch. That completely changes the discussion.
If the console wasn't even going to be announced for 3 years, why would you say that the game you're building is going to launch on "some platform that doesn't exist yet!". It would never happen.
Game development could have changed at any time from Wii-U to Switch. Or it might have never changed and is still built entirely for the Wii-U. Or it was conceived for the Switch from the beginning.
Any of those scenarios is as plausible as the others. And unless you work internally at Nintendo and can prove otherwise, this whole argument is a lot of faffing.
I don't know what a (admittedly gorgeous looking) game has to do to win you around. So what if the development switched from one platform to another? To disregard what looks to be one of the best Zelda games ever totally because it's also released on another platform is ludicrous.
For your transgressions you shall be labeled a shill, called an idiot and anytime you mention facts or disagree with a tribe member you will henceforth be known as a troll. The best you can hope for is that the labels won't haunt your offspring. -RedEye9
