Yep, 80s were rad. We're old now.

What's sad about that is that she was so desperate for dollars she needed to cash in on the scandal and feed the beast, in her book she says she lost all her money to someone she hired to manage it for her and had to take up gigs signing autographs for money which she felt degraded over, comparing it to performing "lap dances".

Seems George Lucas could have helped her out a little bit, he could have gifted her a couple million without even noticing, she doesn't really mention her friendship with Lucas in her book.

That was my favorite book as a kid, still probably top five. Unfortunate to hear, but 96 is a good run.

Do you think they'll live forever? Only Jonathan Frakes can do that.

Well, none of those Sirs have a clone.

It's almost like 2016 is like "Oh, crap! Year's almost over! Better kill as many as I can before it ends!"

Reading Reddit Leia thread, I didn't realize the small gentlemen(Kenny Baker) inside R2D2 also passed this year.

This feels similar to hearing of Star Trek main characters dying; our sci-fi youth is fading away too quickly.
