Star Citizen shows off gameplay from the alpha version of Cloud Imperium's
upcoming space game (thanks
Videosift via Ant). The description has a bit more on what we're seeing

Might be wrong, but this has a whiff of 'beginning of the end' about it. Not just walking back the demo of SQ42 but announcing a laundry list of stuff that needs to precede it, thus giving the lie to recent claims that such a demo was imminent. And then there's Star Marine, a FPS that looks worse than what you basically get for free with Cryengine. Oh, but please buy some more ships because you haven't bought nearly enough of those yet.

I've been skeptical of this whole venture, but I've never wished them failure, only success. I want to play this game. I'm just trying to figure out how they ever complete it with all the scope creep that has been added.
