Ubisoft Giveaway Second Chance

Ubisoft Club announces that to cap off their 30th anniversary celebration, this weekend they are offering another chance to download all the free games they gave away this year on a monthly basis. The seven free games are Prince of Persia Sands of Time, Splinter Cell, Rayman Origins, The Crew, Beyond Good & Evil, Far Cry Blood Dragon, and Assassin's Creed III. They are also offering a badge on Uplay for everyone who takes advantage of this offer.

I had to click on it through the client, then it went to that same page and worked. The problem now is that I have 2 copies of the games that I already had......they suck at this.

Just adds them to your account.

I find Uplay less intrusive than Steam. It takes fewer system resources, I don't need it running at all to play the games, and it's not constantly restarting to update itself.

Compared to the other platforms, UPlay is actually pretty subdued. Not in your face at all, and it works well for me. Also mostly easy to figure out what is going on.
I'm not quite sure what the issue is with multiple platforms. Of course I don't have them setup to start with Windows because, well, windows.
But i read somewhere once that competition was a good thing, something about it breeding innovation,improvements,creativity...etc.

He's right and I'm one of those people that don't want to sign up to or use another distribution platform.
One platform to rule them all, yeah that sounds like a good plan. NOT

You add them to your account.

Support more platforms, it creates competition and it's better for you and everyone else.

Did it easily and quickly a few hours ago on the actual UPlay software. It's on the front page of it.

I think their CDN is hosed, depending upon where you live. I can't get the actual site to come up at all. Not on my desktop, laptop, or phone. They're not all using the same connection.
