Overwatch Wins Big at The Game Awards

There's a post on Engadget about The Game Awards with a list of the winners and a recap of the goings on. They call this the "best show yet," noting it is thankfully each entry since splitting from SpikeTV "gets subsequently less embarrassing to watch." They also note that one of the industry's better known voice actors had some words for his colleagues on strike among the "emotional" moments in the show: "There were a few emotional moments onstage as well, including Ryan Green accepting the Games for Impact award for That Dragon, Cancer; Keighley presenting his friend Hideo Kojima with a statue for Industry Icon and Nolan North throwing striking voice actors under the bus during his acceptance speech for best performance." Blizzard's Overwatch was the big winner, walking away with prizes for Best eSports Game, Best Multiplayer, Best Game Direction, and Game of the Year.

I, for one, appreciate Nolan North acknowledging that VAs aren't the only people who make video games. Regardless of what the motivation was (assuming it was to foster general game dev support for the SAG strike).
