I did actually read the whole thing. It was a yawner.

I did like this quote though:

Sure, like every other writer on the Web, I want my articles to be widely read, which means I want you to Like and Tweet and email this piece to everyone you know. But if you had any inkling of doing that, you’d have done it already. You’d probably have done it just after reading the headline and seeing the picture at the top. Nothing I say at this point matters at all.

Sad commentary on the state of society that most tweets and comments are based off the headlines and someone could write total garbage for the rest of the article

What bugs me the most about Edge is that it doesn't even incorporate the basic rendering abilities of IE11. The fact that W10 has to ship with both tells me that Edge was/is not going to be ready for prime time anytime soon, and they know it.

I'd still prefer targetted ads than click the money tree and make your dick bigger ads all over the place. Obviously I'm not targeted for those... :p Are you using Allo for messaging now or was that a plain SMS? That's not good if its the stock app :/

Edge has a nice engine. But a browser isn't just an engine and Edge is sub Firefox 3.x levels of usability.

It's getting better. Some things still drive me nuts, and in some places the forms won't work.

But I use multiple browsers. One is kind of general and business stuff. The other is messageboards and shopping. Both have many, many tabs.

Brave may be something I try. Not Chrome. Google pisses me off enough with ad tracking. The other night a friend texted me and asked me if I wanted to go to a store. 5 minutes later I watched a YouTube video on my desktop, on a browser I've never logged into Gmail with, and boom. Ad for that store. I'm now seeing the ads everywhere. Never went to the site, just had a friend text me the name of the store.

The only people who use edge are the ones that don't know how to change default programs.

On a side note, Firefox just keeps getting better.
