Farming Simulator 17 is now available for Windows and OS X
on Steam, offering a new
installment in the agriculture series.
Steam News says: "Take

Harvest many types of crops, including for the first time sunflowers and soy beans. Take care of your livestock - cows, sheep, chickens and now pigs - take part in forestry, and sell your products to expand your farm!

I would say outside of the hardcore flight sims (ie: Falcon 5), this is pretty much the Ferrari of Sims. It is a Farming Simulator. So large that there are expensive controls (like flight sims) for it.

Same way how Truck Sim is fun.
Since they are keep making new ones every year I am guessing there are plenty of people buying these.
Saitek even have controllers for this game, with button box and everything.
Check youtube for some let's play vids. Those are much more informative these days than any sort of trailers

This (steam forum topic) may help understanding why many enjoy FS titles.
While the addition of sunflowers and soy beans is a huge step forward for the franchise, they failed to mention that you'll need a SLI GPU setup to enable the 2 new crops.

I laughed at these games until I played Euro Truck Simulator 2 for many hours. That was relaxing to play while watching something on TV and I imagine this could be the same.
For anyone interested I'd highly recommend Squirrel's youtube channel for games like farming sim or ETS, train sim etc. He plays a lot of those not so popular games and I find his commentary to be hilarious at times but mostly just very relaxing to listen to.
