Amazon has let me down for the first time...![]()
Not getting my 25th Anniversary edition until the 25th because of some sort of shipping delay. It might be a blessing in disguise given my current infatuation with Divinity: Original Sin at the moment. I didn't get to DOS until 2 weeks ago and I have found it hard to play much of anything else since.
Even my *gasp* Madden time has suffered! The horror!!

So... worth a buy at full price if you've generally enjoyed Civ/Alpha Centauri?

I'm not keen on the fog-of-war graphics, the contrast between visible and out-of-sight is too much. It's a minor issue and I'll probably get used to it - if not I'll get over it.

How's the religion spam in this?
It was horrible in the last one.

I've come close to buying this several times and the price keeps holding me back. I think u can get it on Amazon for 20% off as a prime member but I still can't pull the trigger.
I went and watched a twitch stream of it and it didn't make difference. I can't help feeling like this is another rebooted sim city. The graphical style they went with leaves me wondering when the iPad release us going to be.
