This weekend kicks off the Columbus Day weekend here in the U.S. I'm feeling way
behind, as I haven't even shopped for any presents yet. At this rate I won't
even be able to find a cake.

Im drooling already since Blade Runner was my all time favorite sci-fi....er brain glitch here I should say one of my faves but it is without a doubt in my top 5!!!!!!

It was going to stay on east coast, so anywhere west was good. No problems in Tampa.
Was in Florida for quite a few years, I have 1 bit of advice.
THEY TELL YOU TO EVACUATE, THEN GET THE FUCK OUT! Already 5 deaths, 2 were from idiots running a generator in their garage and died of carbon monoxide. 1 power worker was electrocuted (not sure if he survived or not) trying to get the power on during a fucking hurricane! I mean who the fuck sent out a guy to fix shit in a hurricane?!?

We evacuated (I live in Jacksonville) to Tampa, watched it all on the news all day today. Luckily, the eye wall stayed out at sea for us and damage seems to be minimal except in coastal areas where storm surge caused flooding. Looking online, it seems like power is still on at our house, which is encouraging.

It's Thanksgiving up here. Which is funny because I always thought our was too early and yours was too late. I think we should both sync them up for the 1st or 2nd week of November instead.
