I'm not sure Jared Leto is the perfect casting for the movie, but I feel like it's not far off the mark.
I should be coding.

Yup.

I was running around with a tranquilizer gun in the Statue of Liberty without being able to hit a single damn thing. I did not enjoy it.

I plowed through, though, and fell in love. I got better weapons, I got more accurate, I never touched that tranq again, etc. I've played through thrice now, probably identically each time, but enjoyed each time.

You should try playing through The Nameless Mod now. It's very well done, professionally one might say, and quite a bit of humor. Also probably just as long if not longer than the original game, with multiple paths and game endings.
Consoles are schwag.

Looking forward to this. Also what Half Elf is referring to as the first game, is actually the third game.

I managed to ignore what was happening with Deus Ex until fairly recently (apart from the first one). The few trailers for this game got me to take a look at Human Revolution, and Im glad I did so. It's a fun game, even though the shooting mechanics and the cover system leave a lot to be desired. Let's hope this one fixes up some of those issues from the previous game and we will have a pure winner on our hands.

we all know DX:HR was the 3rd game. i'm pretty sure all of us played the 1st 1st game when it 1st came out. now that was a masterpiece of game design.

I actually hated the first game when it came out. It was a combination of bad controls/interface and the fact that there were other shooters with much better controls/interface. Sure the game had crazy features that no other game had, but I remember it not being very much fun to actually play. But that was so long ago...

Apparently the story is kinda weak but the gameplay is very good and just an overall improvement over Human Revolution.
Now we donce.

Could just save yourself some time nin and use Open Critic. But most of these game review sites aren't worth the shit they're printed on anymore.

edit: I also noticed that all of the low reviews seem to becoming from one system: PS4. The PC and Xbox one reviews are good-to excellent, but even at that the above average reviews are all consoles.

I just hope I'll be able to play it with my overclocked C2Q 9550 and a GTX 670 FTW. The combo did well with the previous game as well as both new Wolfenstein games, but the specs for this gives me concern.

I honestly never had issues with Pritchard even with my first play through. He was a snarky dick but just the way he and Jensen would bicker and interact with each other was fun.

I wish someone would have modded Archer's voice over Pritchard, that would have been hilarious.

Other than that, eh, yeah, Pritchard was a dick, but so was Adam, so that pretty much evened out. By the end, Pritchard is the guy watching your ass, so he was cool for me.

I really liked the "normal day on the job" start to the game(second start actually...). The low stress scenario got me easily invested in the game. I hope there's something like that in the sequel.

If you get to kill the IT guy from the 1st game I'll pre-order it NOW!

Trailer looks great, but how much of it was from in the game and how much was rendered cgi.

I liked the way he and Pritchard went from adversarial at the start to a semi team by the end. You really hated the guy at first, but as time went on, more often than not he was the guy telling you the truth.

But I'm pretty sure Jensen is at a totally different company, when this takes place...
