Here's a new trailer
from AGONY, MadMind Studio's upcoming hellish survival/horror game. Another
recent look at the game is in the
Gamescom teaser trailer.
The description provides some details:
Agony is a first-person survival horror game currently in development. Players will begin their journey as tormented soul within the depths of hell without any memories about his past.
The special ability to control people on their path, and even possess simple minded demons, gives the player the necessary measures to survive in the extreme conditions they are in.
By exploring hostile environment and interacting with the other weary souls of the hellscape, the hero will soon understand that there is only one way to escape from Hell, and it will require a meeting of the mystical Red Goddess.

Interesting in that second video how they utilized the Empyrean cicle in a corrupt fashion. One would have to assume it leads directly to Lucifer himself. I quite like how EA dpecited Dante's Inferno, it was just a same they made it a shitty ARPG instead of a proper CRPG. I think that would make an amazing game - and film to boot. This looks a little low rent but I guess we'll see.

This looks quite interesting and very thematic. Seems heavily inspired by Amnesia: the Dark Descent in the way that there seems no way to combat the demons and one must simply avoid them and explore the hellish landscapes in an effort to find answers.
