Remedy offers a statement to remedy a misconception they spread about
Quantum Break. Following
the announcement of
Windows 7 plans
they stated
they would no longer support the Windows 10 edition. It turns out they didn't
actually mean that and they show surprise that anyone believed them.
Thomas Puha now
tweets that the Win10 support will continue. He says "that should be a
given," which is how most were taking it before he caused this confusion
himself. He did this
by tweeting
"Its [sic] unlikely we release another Win10 patch." Now he says "of course"
that's not the case. Here's
the latest:
Clarifying that, of course, updates made to QB on Steam will also be
released for the Win10 version and vice versa. That should be a given.
Puha
also recently tweeted that the Win10 edition will not receive DirectX 11
support, saying, "no, WIn10 is DX12."
DSOGaming contacted them to see if this is another statement they will walk
back, but have not yet received a reply.
