So he mentions two issues:
Puts skype back on your system. Yeah we all rather not be bothered with an app we don't want. I assume you can just take it back off? Also he mentions that it logs you in automatically and things just start to happen. What if one doesn't have a skype account?
Then it hides classic shell, it seems possible that it may not be compatible as it once was since they made start menu changes, so they decide to turn it off. If true that it wouldn't be compatible you would want that to happen vs something starting to glitch.
He mentions Win10's Start menu is bad, but it seems like Win7 on steroids to me.
States the search won't find Classic Shell afterwards, well Windows has been bad a search since at least XP. It is slow and seemingly only wants to show you what it does. That is why choosy choosers would choose something like Search Everything app, which is immediate in results and you can search up Windows sphincters if you like.
I'm not saying any of this is great, I'm just not so sure it is all that different then it has ever been. The only real difference is their persistence on wanting to update you.
I have read issues with steam after the update, but I believe an update to steam fixes most of that. Another were partitions are removed and boom there goes someones linux dual boot. |
