SCS Software announces plans to make a fundamental change to the underlying scale of American Truck Simulator that will dramatically increase the scope of the transport sim. They say the scale of the game is being changed from 1:35 to 1:20, meaning the roads outside cities will be 75% longer, noting this is the same scale used in Euro Truck Simulator 2. They request patience with this process, as they anticipate it will take several months, but they are optimistic this is the best move for the long term future of the game.
