lol some of the most corrupt politicians were at that sit down. Why isn't Senator Cummings in jail for obstructing justice (Benghazi committee). There were emails linking him to some of the people involved. Well anyways, I know the answer...the GOP isn't so hot themselves; they are either corrupt or scared to death.

The facts are there is gun violence throughout the world; however, depending on the agenda, it is worded different. For example, many places are being ripped to pieces by civil war, but you will not hear that in the media or by the power hungry politicians that want to take the people's right to defend themselves. The government wants to act like they have all the answers but show me a place on this planet that has zero crime and I will show you heaven on earth. Gun free zones work, people? Gun Control= more power for the power hungry politician.

So, you're comparing civil wars in third world countries to the US favorably?

The underlying wave of ignorant fascism in this country is terrifying.

The only failure here is the failure of the GOP to lead when in a position of power. Rather than make the necessary changes that 90% of the country want to see, they cower behind their NRA money like the "gun-toting pussies" they really are.

The Democrats are such boobs. A nutjob terroist goes on a shooting spree and their first dogmatic inclination is go after pistols and rifles, not the criminals. How about taking our immigration policy seriously for once? How about us not handcuffing law enforcement by having to remove Islamonazis from their watch lists because FBI leadership and higher ups (to the very top of the food chain) prohibit it? All this scrubbing of 911 transcripts of any word relating to Islam?

No, the Dems don't even pause to take a breath and jump on the opportunity to rip everyone's unalienable rights to shreds. Where are the JFKs anymore? All we are left with are a bunch of radical kook Marxists in the Democrat party.

I shouldn't feed the racist troll, but you know he was born in the US, right? And that he seems to have much stronger ties to homophobia, possibly internalized, than radicalized Islam.

Gun control? Oh, you mean like that "drug control" they have had around for years? Yeah, that's been great. Haven't heard of anyone getting any illegal drugs for like, what... decades now, right? When the government passes laws, everyone obeys them without question or exception, so I'm sure all the criminals out there are going to say, "Well, so much for that. Guess I'll go find a real job now."

Please, PLEASE pass more gun control laws, because I'm very excited to see the looks on your stupid fucking faces when you discover that it won't change a fucking thing, except making the problem worse. You think illegal arms dealers in the US are in demand now? You just wait. You haven't anything yet. The next civil war IS coming, and the government is going to lose.

@Task,

I hear you that this is probably one of the worst ways to go about gun control, but given how they've been stymied for decades and decades, can you blame gun control advocates for taking what they can get? Gun violence is an epidemic that kills more than 10,000 people a year. If guns were any other product, they would be much, much more heavily regulated and/or sued out of existence. But because we've got gun lobbies and the NRA, we get zero regs and no movement in solving the issue.

The MIC - and by extension the gun manufacturers - are the people who really run America. They have carte blanche. Almost a trillion dollars a year is what they loot from the American taxpayers now. And god help the godless commie liberal who ever dare suggest reining in defense spending! I mean the bankers and stock brokers know they're reviled and they're a fair target, but inject some common sense about weapons in 'Murica and that's treason! Besides, I'm sure most of the GOP and their supporters think a bunch of dead and wounded fags is a good thing/god's will anyway. Like this motherfucker....

Texas pastor hopes more Orlando shooting victims die

There's your GOP rank and file for you.

Only if the U.S. government also gets gun controlled. They shouldn't be allowed to send arms to radicals or use guns in illegal wars. Also they shouldn't be allowed to take actual radicals off and on again watch lists when it suits their Proxy War needs.

The so called gun banning for 'no-fly list' if they are Terrorist Watch List is highly abuse-able given the precarious situation of the U.S. Police State. The things that can now land you on a "terrorist watch list" are: Attend a political rally, Express yourself on Social Media, Serve in the Military, Disagree with a law enforcement official, and other nonsense. Everyone is high on emotions and politicians are simply acting for political gains and not thinking about the future consequences.

"In other words, there is no way to know whether you are on that list. Nor is there any way to know how to get off it.

That there is any list at all should give us all pause. It has not historically been the hallmark of a healthy democracy when governments have kept lists of people they didn’t like."

Also here is an article from Jeremy Scahill, Ryan Devereaux who are actually liberals explain exactly how it will be abused.
