EA unveils gameplay from Titanfall 2, offering
single-player trailer
and a multiplayer trailer
showing off the upcoming mech shooter sequel (thanks nin). Here's word:
Pilot and Titan unite as never before in Respawn Entertainment’s highly anticipated Titanfall® 2. Featuring a crafted single player campaign that explores the unique bond between man and machine, players will step on to The Frontier as a Militia rifleman with aspirations of becoming a Pilot. Never bought in to TF1 (played the beta, and MP was fun but not the at the price they were asking), but that does look kinda sweet...

Seconded. Had a lot of fun with the first one, until all the DLC came out, and things were just fragmented. Hard to find a game that wasn't deathmatch, which I'm just not into. Hoping this one will be good.

If they don't have some kind of open beta that is a big success (ala Overwatch), this game is going to flop because everyone who got burned on the last one will avoid it, and all of us that saw those people get burned will avoid it. They're going to have to prove to everyone that the game is solid and worth it, and they can only do that with some kind of free play period.

Considering the player numbers on PC for this that made zero difference, as there was no community left they could fracture. The game is deader than dead and that it already wast a mere month after release. Biggest fail buy I ever did when it comes to MP shooters.
And the problem wasn't so much the gameplay, which was fine, the problem was the god awful engine and netcode/hosting system.
Single player trailer contains roughly 3 seconds of actual single player gameplay.
