Battlefield 1 Teaser Trailer 2

A Battlefield 1 Teaser Trailer 2 shows off some anti-tank combat using dynamite in Battlefield 1, EA's upcoming World War I shooter (thanks DSOGaming). This is another teaser in advance of the EA Play 2016 conference that gets underway in about five hours, where word is we will see a full reveal trailer of the game.

I still think BF3 has the best infantry combat, and 4 has the best vehicle combat. But rather have 2143

Meh, opinions will differ of course, but I average about 400-500 hours in every Battlefield I've actually bought since 1942. There are still no other games out there that have that amazing combination of land/air/(sometimes) sea vehicles with infantry combat.

I did skip Hardline though, and had to miss BF2 due to not having anything but dialup for a few years.

I still play a few rounds of BF4 every now and then.

TNT is back baby! I had so much goofy fun with that in Battlefield 1942. Loading into a Jeep or Kubelwagen and turning it into a bomb, or launching halfway across the map on friendly fire off servers. Actually looking forward to seeing you know... more than 15 seconds of gameplay; need something in-depth, but I like the premise of WW1 old-skool combat/weaponry rather than constant 'modern' combat games.

I expect this to be closer to BF3/4 than Battefront, especially given the source material.

I would think that would be the case as well. Battlefront 3 is a masterful example of poor delivery and execution of an already established IP, they simply 'designed' away elements of the series. The BF series is its own thing.

Yes but also Battlefront 1/2 had a great system that worked well and the 2nd game was expanded further to make it better.
Hardlines used BF3/4's system and was a failure due to being a high priced mod with not enough unique features.
So what will they do with BF1? That's what I want to know.

in reality, all of the soldiers were inexperienced in World War 1 and wouldn't be that good like they are in this game or like the 1 man army super soldiers in WW2 shooters and other FPS games.

I was speaking only of the most recent Battlefront. The original 2 are of a kind of game that isn't really made any longer.

I think that BF1 will be more in the BF3/4 mold. It's been 3 years since BF4, so I suspect EA will return to that formula given that both Hardline and Battlefront played a bit differently. And who knows, maybe they'll surprise us with some new mechanics.

Battlefield games are only authentic when it comes to sounds and imagery, nobody ever expects them to be a realistic milsim.

I think EA is crazy to be putting out two shooters so close to each other, direct competition with themselves between this and Titanfall 2.

You're joking, right?

There is absolutely nothing "authentic" about the retarded garbage you can see in this trailer. It is much too actiony and fast-paced. If you would fly at the velocity and pull off a single maneuver from the trailer with a real WW1 plane, it would crumble to tiny little dust particles mid-air due to total structural failure.

Also, no problem with two shooters for EA. The mouthbreathers who are easily impressed by trailers will just preorder both (10+ million Star Wars Battlefront sales do not lie). Works every time. EA knows exactly how retarded their customers are (or have become).

Have you played Rise of Flight bro, the best WW1 flight sim on the market? You can do some pretty close maneuvers like that (spins, immelmans, split-s, hard turns). They just fall apart if you are diving too fast is all. It's exaggerated as all BF games are though, duh?

You're referencing another video game for authenticity? Dude? But, fine, I was not arguing that those maneuvers could not be flown with WW1 planes without them breaking apart. I specifically mentioned the keyword "velocity". WW1 planes were not able to fly at the speed shown in the trailer, let alone make such turns or pull into such climbs without crumbling to dust. That's basically WW2 planes in a WW1 skin in that garbage clip.
The Battlefield series of casual crap video games has about as much to do with authenticity as the pope with a gangbang party.

Again, nobody should expect realism in the gameplay of these games. A weapon or vehicle is authentic looking and might even have sound effects recorded from the real one but that's where any realism ends. The interesting thing is some of the stuff they have in the game looks fictional but there's actually historical references to some of it, like the body armor suit.
