The number of famous people has presumably increased a lot continuously for a few decades so maybe 2016 isn't a bad year but a drop of things to come.
There's a cheery thought.
Plus these are OUR people. We didn't grow up with Jimmy Stewart or Elizabeth Taylor so their deaths had a smaller impact on us. But we grew up with people like Robin Williams, Prince, and Bowie. We watched as they grew from fledglings into superstars. We listened to their music or watched their performances to entertain ourselves, cheer ourselves up, or wallow in self pity. They have touched our souls and the impact when they depart can affect us deeply.
To prevent CV-19, avoid the Serious Seven: weddings, funerals, faith-based activities, bars, gyms, house gatherings and other small events.
