Yeah Amiga died by suicide, not killed by any competitor. Such a waste of an amazing product and the talent behind it.

Big Blue was IBM back in the day. They (and the clone legion) dominated the corporate and home markets slowly eroding the market share of Amiga, Commodore, VIC, Coleco, etc... Sorry, didn't mean to insinuate that they directly crushed Amiga and later Commodore.

I actually had one of the original Amiga 1000's. If you looked at the motherboard schematics, you could read Pink Floyd and band's song lyrics....actually on the board. Amazing company.

Awesome. I remember seeing Guru Meditation errors when the Amiga our cable company was using would fritz. The Amiga was the most forward thinking and amazing computer ever developed....too bad Big Blue put them down.

Yes from '85 to about '91 Amiga was unmatched as a computer gaming platform! Big Blue? Intel? What makes you think that?

IMO it was a combination of failures by Commodore.

Perpetual debt is slavery.
