As someone who just likes a good sound I think she uses way too many cymbals. Her drumming has no clear defined beat

its extremely clearly defined - you just lack the perceptual capacity to hear it

with that said, youd probably need to be a musician (or have a trained ear) already to have that ability, this is more flashy/complex/advanced than most backbeats

So this is a case of "too much too fast" ? I find this interesting because to me it really sounds more like noise. I definitely don't have any perceptual capacity to hear every part of a detailed drum performance though.

I drummed for 2 years as a kid - 14-16 - my uncle was a professional session drummer and was teaching me. It's probably my biggest single regret I didn't stick with it. I would have made such a great rock star. Oh sure I'd be long dead most likely but what a way to go! In big pile of groupies, coke and booze.

It looks like Amazon's got a problem with their Associate links. The iframes get loaded securely with src="//rcm-na.amazon-adsystem.com/..." urls, which inherit the "https" prefix if the originating site used it. Unfortunately, the served content has hardcoded http:// links to the clickable images, and that triggers the warning.
Yes, that is a known problem already mentioned by Blue.

Genesys wrote on Mar 26, 2016, 12:20:
Blue, check this link out: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3890003/amazon-widget-and-ssl . It looks like adding "&internal=1" to your iframe request will make those images get fetched over https.
Ah, excellent find, that worked for our Amazon links too, despite the different hostnames. Thanks!

Now Chrome and https://www.whynopadlock.com/ consider the site completely okay. But Firefox and IE11 are more strict, and still display mixed-content warnings due to the switchadhub.com ads which have the same problem with their tracking pixels.

Yeah, I don't know how complicated a rhythm Henley and Collins can do while singing -- but just the idea of singing and drumming at the same time seems to me like orders of magnitude above patting your head and rubbing your stomach...

Depends on the tempo and complexity of the rhythm. I can sing just fine when drumming until I throw a wacky fill in and completely lose the lyrics. I've never been brave enough to sing while doing anything else on stage.

OH MY GOD, I....nope, I'm good.

Also, the little Japanese girl. I hate video titles like that. This little Japanese girl is a better drummer than you will ever be! Except, I AM a drummer, and she's actually not better than me. I mean, if you worship at the alter of John Bonham and Lars Ulrich and think Travis Barker is the man, then yes, she's probably better than you would expect. If you like prog-metal, then she's got nothing on Portnoy, Mangini, or Peart. Why can't they just title it "Hey, this little Japanese girl is a good drummer." Or, this girl may grow up to be the next Meytal Cohen?
