i was stoked about this until i found out it was windows store only. unfortunately being a windows store app means:
no fullscreen exclusive
no vsync options, vsync always on
no sli/crossfire support
can't launch it from the exe, so no steam overlay support
no mods or sweetfx
comparing it to GFWL isn't hyperbole, windows 10 store is honestly worse.
What are you talking about? I think the exe has similar DRM to steam. Got some proof? I found this: https://goo.gl/TrflTZ
Nvidia Inspector for Rise of the Tomb Raider seems to have the same problem on Win Store and Steam but can be fixed if you read through this thread.

The best part of this news is that now Remedy is free to make Alan Wake 2. Which they fucking well better.
I just hope they do keep some of the ideas they had from that 13 minute demo of AW2. Like the whole neeeding to piece together the writing on the pages into the real world part was actually an interesting mechanic.

The premise for this is neat. I don't know if it's something i'd be interested in playing (or watching as it were), but kudos to them for trying something different.
I don't know anything about this. Is it a long-awaited sequel to Quantum Leap?
