There's a
Basic Tech Troubleshooting FAQ on the 2K Games website with tips on getting
better performance from XCOM 2, the recently released strategy sequel.
They cover workarounds for some of the issues people are encountering, and say
they are also working on fixes on their end. Word is: "We want everyone to have

The main problem I have with the XCOM 2 performance is that even while framerate is wildly dipping, my video card's fan is still at idle speed - it doesn't seem to be using the full capability of the card. Hopefully a patch or some new drivers will fix this.
