Out of the Blue

Why do modern keyboards still have a Scroll Lock? And if you can manage an answer to that, I think I can still win by following up by asking if that's so important that we actually need a light to remind us which way this is toggled? It's like vestigial hardware.

I use the Scroll Lock key for the Steam Overlay. I got tired of accidentally opening it when playing FPSes where I hold shift to walk/run and use TAB for things. Scroll Lock made since because it wouldn't conflict with anything.
Oooh, excellent idea! Although that will be conflicting with my KVMs.

Yeah, and we had multi config setups too! I hated that conventional memory issue. DOS v4 was horrible.
Well, I remember waiting for 4.01.. I also remember being disappointed with 5.0, but don't recall why. I suspect whatever it was I got over it.
v5 was better than v4! Oh yeah, I remember DOS v4's DOS SHELL GUI!
