Last three years have all started on the Thursday before X-mas, so I was expecting today... Doesn't matter so much anymore... Only game I'm interested in checking prices on is FC4, and even then, I'll just keep waiting if it's over $10 or so. I need to put those last few (dozen?) hours into Fallout 4 to 'make room' though...

Pretty sure it will start next week, as these hints are pretty much always spot-on.

Yup I'm with you there, I told myself in August, "No more buying games this year!" but frankly, there's only one game I really want to buy now, and it can wait as I have a hefty backlog of games to play. But for those who are just getting into Steam or have been waiting for a price drop, have at it!

I hope Steam does a mini game like they had during the Summer Sale. That was fun.
