FINAL FANTASY VI PC Listing

The Pan European Game Information website now has a listing for a PC edition of FINAL FANTASY VI, the VIth installment in the role-playing series that's never been as final as its titles suggest (thanks Blend Games). The listing is new of last Thursday, and offers a PEGI 12 rating for the game, which was originally released SNES in 1994. Here's a description of the game from Wikipedia:
Final Fantasy VI (ファイナルファンタジーVI Fainaru Fantajī Shikkusu?, also known as Final Fantasy III for the US-SNES version) is a role-playing video game developed and published by Square (now Square Enix) for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) platform. Released in 1994, it is the sixth title in the mainline Final Fantasy series. Set in a fantasy world with a technology level equivalent to that of the Second Industrial Revolution, the game's story focuses on a group of rebels as they seek to overthrow an imperial dictatorship. The game features fourteen permanent playable characters, the most of any game in the main series.

My favorite FF game. Actually, the only one I like... But damn, stop putting it on everything. Unless you're going to make a graphically updated version, which I highly doubt. I mean, we've had emulators for a loooong time.

you do know these companies are trying to make money right? they arent doing this for fun, or nostalgia... just because "you" dont want to buy it, doesnt mean shit.. theres a ton of kids who have never heard of emulators who WILL buy it

in case you are still wondering why.. its really very easy to figure out when you get over yourself... but until that happens, everything is so confusing im sure

AHAHAHAAH yeaaaahhhhhh, Harlock is one of the worst pieces of shit on this board. Unless you're sado machostic, give that "ignore" feature a try.

these pathetic cocksuckers are so weak minded they have to get a computer to censor reality for them, so they can handle it

Yeah here's my little world idea for a FF6 re-release: original SNES port with GBA additions + Modern Soundtrack and Original Soundtrack as options. Graphics like the PSP re-releases would be a great plus and a Hard Edition would be totally needed (since this FF is mindlessly easy).

If you haven't heard the symphonic version of the soundtrack that was released in Japan, good god man, that should be in there...

ROM hack that fixes the sound to be SNES quality.

This exists? I shouldn't be surprised. Now I know what I must do; it has been too long since I heard the sweet subtle tones of Kefka's laugh.

It's gonna be the mobile version with butchered stock RPG-Maker looking sprites. Just emulate the GBA version with the ROM hack that fixes the sound to be SNES quality.
Do you have a single fact to back that up?

Hopefully they release a version that doesn't force itself to 14 FPS during battles or whatever they've done with previous early titles.

Unplayable choppy crap.

simple solution to a simple problem really

thing is, everyone is so wrapped up in their own little world

everyone is so stuck up their own ass, its like "WHY DOES THIS NOT HAPPEN THE WAY I THINK IT SHOULD?????", but its incredibly stupid question most of the time... objectively there is no mystery, but subjectively its impossible to understand, because subjectivity itself is the problem

Yes, I was thinking exactly this.

Hopefully its not the android/ios version which was apparently atrocious. I would love a graphically updated version, maybe with some extra dungeons and fleshed out in a few areas.
