Out of the Blue

Happy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating, and here's hoping you have what to be thankful for even if you aren't. I'm feeling gratitude myself, and that you are reading these words is part of the reason. We have a pretty low-key gathering planned at the BlueTower, and I've completed my chores well in advance of the festivities, so my plans for the rest of the day involve eating, drinking, and watching tackle football, all causes to be thankful as well.

Happy Thanksgiving all.

That chemical plant explosion video is crazy. Made me think of Just Cause 3.

Is it just me, or does China and Japan have a hard time managing emergencies? I mean....supposed the most intelligent portions of the world, and they fail time after time dealing with human life and emergencies. Putting water (and it looked like a slurry) on a highly volatile chemical is instant no no. I am sure hundreds died - that was BAD!

China yes, Japan no. China has no real infrastructure. Couple that with the rampant corruption and bureaucracy and it's a major clusterfuck.
