It is betting on the outcomes of sporting events. That it does so in a complicated way does not change this.

Poker, too, involves skill other than determining direct odds, but still qualifies.

The only question is whether they have enough voting participants to strike fear into politicians. Is it a coincidence this happened right after an election?

They are making all profit because it's not betting against the house. All of the "winnings" the fake people talk about on the commercials are actually other people's money... a point lost on so many that think they're gonna be the one to break the bank.

But I suppose people still buy lottery tickets too so... stupid tax expanded.

They have saturated NFL broadcasts with their commercials all season, you know they are making some crazy profits.

FanDuel and DraftKings are nothing else but gambling. You get much better odds in Vegas. Just a get rich quick scheme from some shady characters.
