Out of the Blue

We had an interesting adventure this morning at the BlueTower as someone managed to let a little bird in. In spite of not actually being the guilty party, I am the house animal control officer, which usually just involves bugs, but the bird was also something I had to deal with. I tried opening a window in the living room and he flew into the kitchen. As I opened the back door he managed to fall behind a picture on top of a cabinet, but when I moved the picture, he flew straight out the door, leaving me basking in the glow of a job well done. This outcome was much easier than I imagined, and he wasn't in the house for more than five minutes, but from what I know about bird physiology, this means there are probably at least three bird poops to track down and clean up.

I just had to clear off two doves who dies in my porch. one had lots of maggots. what should I do to clean it all up?

Put on rubber gloves. Scrape everything into a plastic bag, tie it off, double bag it, and throw it in the trash. Wash the whole area down with ammonia.

Thanks!! will do.

Soooo, hadn't heard anything about He Never Died. But now I want to go see it. Looks like it could be as entertaining as John Wick, although that's a pretty high bar.

I was lukewarm on Wick. Thought it took itself a bit too seriously, and was lots of style, but lacked substance. This movie looks better, although trailers can be deceiving.

I'm a long time fan of Henry. I'm not sure how he got involved in this, and I'm not sure how good it'll be, but I gotta see it.

They've refuted that now on their bookface page, so don't get too excited:

David Bowie ‘Blackstar'

It can now be confirmed that ‘Blackstar’ is the forthcoming single and album from David Bowie.

Contrary to inaccurate reporting on the sound and content of the album, only the following can be confirmed:

The single will be released on November 20th and is not part of David’s theatre piece ‘Lazarus’.

The album will be released on David’s birthday, January 8th 2016.

Still...it's new Bowie. I gotta have it.

the videos on that page are pretty impressive

looks like they will hit their goal too

People who pledge the Developer Access tier will be able to play the game by sometime in January 2016 (we'll try to get it out sooner than that if possible). Alpha access should be available around October of 2016 and Beta access in April 2017. The game is scheduled to ship to retail by September 2017.

they've been showing a prototype for their tech that goes back to 2006 I believe.

really cool tech demo, don't have enough confidence to back their kickstarter.

Looks like an engine in search of a game. They said they'll support single player, but have been pretty sparse on details.

They have a kickstarter.
