Agree. Sounds like they're really going for a premium experience to ensure good reviews and word of mouth. Given it's brand new tech, it's reasonable. It's pretty easy to pay more for a monitor with less resolution than a 'Rift.
To prevent CV-19, avoid the Serious Seven: weddings, funerals, faith-based activities, bars, gyms, house gatherings and other small events.
